Claudia Schiffer promotes „Germany – Land of Ideas“
On 11 placards, supermodel Claudia Schiffer presents the new campaign for the initiative, “Invest in Germany – Land of Ideas”. From June 5th, 2006, the placards featuring the most famous German model are on display in London’s Bank Underground station.
The aim of the campaign is to promote the investment opportunities offered in Germany to the most important financial markets in the world. Find below a selection of photos realized by the world renowned German photographer Peter Lindbergh, who is also involved in the campaign.

Claudia Schiffer explained that her involvement in “Invest in Germany – Land of Ideas” comes from having had the opportunity to compare different countries through her numerous international travels. “I feel it is an honour to be part of the Land of Ideas Campaign and to be honest - I feel it is the least I can do for a country that has supported me so much. Supported not only by giving me language, love and an identity, and not only by providing me with nearly perfect social, economical and political conditions. But also -and foremost - by letting me grow up in creative atmosphere, amongst mans most important contribution to mankind: amongst ideas.
I immediately agreed to support the campaign ‘Germany - Land of ideas’ because to me it perfectly captures Germany’s essence.
Starting with cars, bras, aspirins, football shoes, ipods to name just a few - Germany has made and will make more things possible than beer and punctuality.And if I can help to get that message across to investors throughout the world, I am glad to do so."
